Just what I needed
I had made the mistake of losing one of the two keys/remotes to my truck, and the cost of reprogramming a new second key was really expensive so after paying to reprogram the new second key, I decided to order a third key so that I would have a spare if I were to lose another one. The remote wasn't really necessary, but the price was really good so I got a third remote as well. What a great investment! It cost just a couple dollars to have the new key cut, and I was able to program it myself in less than 5 minutes using the instructions provided with the key, plus the two keys I already had. I will never allow myself to get down to only 2 keys again. With what it cost me to have the locksmith reprogram my second key I could have purchased, cut and self-programmed five additional keys. Plus, the peace of mind is priceless!
