Running the wire for SUV's is always a pain but the quality of this camera is superb. I coupled this camera system with JVC's top of the line in dash monitor for 2012. For anyone that ids wondering it does not have the guidelines found on all factory backup cameras. The quality is excellent. There are no lights on the camera but the reverse lights on the SUV provide ample light at night. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. It's legal in all states. It doesn't block any of the plate.
