One star? Yes, I'm afraid so, and not because I didn't like the packaging or some such nonsense. Two main issues, both total deal-breakers: 1) the tag alarm is so faint it can barely be heard even if right next to your ear. No kidding. There is absolutely no way you will be able to find your keys by listening for the sound, and 2) the "separation" alarm goes off for no reason, even in the middle of the night with cell phone and tag sitting five feet apart.
What more need I say? The tag is virtually inaudible and alarms can go off randomly for no apparent reason. It is not a device you can trust. How Cobra can sell this thing is beyond me. And yes, I'm very tech savvy and this is not a case of user error. In fact, if you read more reviews you will see that others have experienced the same thing. Sorry, this is simply not ready for prime time and Cobra needs to be slapped. Seriously.
