Didn't Work When Needed Most
Bought this over priced gadget, plus 4 additional sensors to prevent damage from a catastrophic tire failure on my 5th wheel trailer. Long story short, I had a tire failure and got no warning from this thing. The only thing I got was about $5,000 in damages from the tire tread, before it left the Wheel altogether. When I learned of the failure and found the wheel without the tire, I checked this thing's monitor, which not only did not Indicate a problem, but further gave me readings that the tire was still on the rim with 80.7 lbs of air within. The company did contact me and eventually convinced me that a signal booster was needed for my setup. I installed and signals do seem much better, but the need for this device, or it's placement, is not addressed in the manual. I'm very impressed with the way the company responded and worked with me on this thing, which causes me to raise the rating from one to three stars.

Description : It is easy to use and install. Has the potential to monitor up to 22 tires simultaneously on your motorhome and towed vehicle, or your truck and trailer. When an abnormality in tire pressure occurs, the TireMinder® TPMS monitor will display and identify the exact tire pressure from 0 to 145 PSI on the easy-to-read digital display (accuracy is within 2.7%). Blow-out alarm gives audible and visual alerts for loss of tire pressure and/or tire temperature over 167º F.

The TireMinder® monitor may be mounted anywhere in your vehicle. Monitor operates up to 30 days before needing to be plugged into a cigarette lighter charger. Transmitters may be mounted at any tire location and functions 9 to 12 months on replaceable CR1632 lithium batteries (an extra is included - 8 pcs total).
