For the price range this rear view camera is by far the best one I've purchased. When my original camera begain to give me problems I begain shopping around for a new one that was comparable in picture quality. I then purchased a rear view camera that was similar to the original one , but the quality was not up to par. I checked with a local car accessory shop and they had a Clarion camera, however a little to pricy for my pocket. Hence I found this little one on amazon.com and since the price was just right, I decided to purchase. The istallation was easy and the picture quality was very good even at night and better than my original camera. I've had this Clarion model now for a while and it works like a charm and is fully ajustable.
Since I prefered having the camera on constantly I bypassed the camera being on only while in reverse by not connecting the power lead through the revese brake light and I can control on or off feature through my display.
