Good working, no-nonsense parking sensor
I hesitated to purchase this unit as an informative review on its performance and quality could not be found. I am glad that I purchased this parking sensor. The targeted vehicle for this sensor is a dual cab Toyota Tundra pickup truck. This is a long truck that required long wires from the rear parking sensor, and the length of the wires were sufficient. I tried out all the sensors prior to mounting them, to verify their functionality as well as get a sense for their sensitivity. All units worked accurately out of the box. Distance accuracy is quite good, but no measurement is provided when an object is one feet and under. The beeper is a solid tone and the measured distance is at zero even if the object is one foot away. In my opinion this is fine as this distance is an adequate to stop. The two front sensors were mounted on the corners of the front bumper. Description : The display shows the distance of the object in feet. Left and right cursors show the left and right distance range. Four ultrasonic sensors mount on the rear bumper, and they are activated when the driver puts their vehicle into reverse. Two sensors mount on the front bumper, and they are activated when the car drives forward and is breaking. A drill bit for the size of the sensor is included. The length of the rear sensor's wire is especially extended to 19 feet for both truck and car installation since the control center may locate in the front cab for a truck, (Most standard rear sensor's wire is 8 feet only for the control center in the trunk of a car).
