Works well, but a tough install.
Got this for our minivan, since we were worried about backing over kids in the blind spot right behind the bumper. The monitor/mirror is big, bigger than I thought it would be looking at the picture, but it was ok in our vehicle. The camera installed on the license plate. The difficulty with the installation is running all the wires. I tapped into the brake lights to power on the monitor automatically when in reverse. I ran power from the cigarette lighter to the camera and monitor, and I can turn on the monitor and see the image from the camera at any time the car is on. You can also install another video source, but not sure that's a good idea to have a video playing on your rear-view mirror... The included instructions are nearly worthless (actually label wires the wrong color), so the installer mostly needs to use trial and error. Works great now, just how I hoped, but would have reservations recommending to anybody who isn't either experienced in custom installation or...
