I have an 04 F150 with a hard shell on the back and can't see anything under 4ft or so in back of the truck so I felt I needed to install a backup camera, it will also aid in hooking up a trailer. Did a lot of research on which camera to buy and settled on this one. At the time there were no reviews so I took a little chance. I'm glad I did, the CCD camera is very clear and has good wide viewing angle. It is also adjustable up and down so it can be aimed for trailer hookup. The bumper on the ford has a step where the license plate goes and the camera frame barely fit in place as it is a touch tall to line up to the existing mounting holes but it did fit with a little force in my installation. I guess one could remove a little material at the bottom if you needed to. Installation is easy just bolt it on and run a single wire to the cab.
