Keyless Remote Works for 2001 Toyota Avalon
I received this remote in very good condition and the price was much better than other offers. I replaced the battery for good measure. After searching the internet for the proper programming procedure, I found the following post which worked for this remote.

Here is some background information from the original poster who used the procedure on a 1998 Toyota Avalon:

Detailed Procedure:
1. Open driver's door.
2. Insert and remove key from ignition.
3. Lock and unlock power door locks 5 times.
4. Close driver's door and reopen it.
5. Lock and unlock power door locks 5 times.
6. Insert key and turn it on and off 2 times without cranking the engine, then pull the key out.
The locks should lock and unlock automatically, one time.
7. Press both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time.
8. Press the lock button once.
The locks should lock and unlock...
