I installed this backup camera in my 2006 Ford Explorer Limited. I put it over a chrome license plate frame and it looks great installed. The extension wire is plenty long to get from back to front. It uses a mini din plug which makes installation easier than the cameras that have full size RCA cables.

The grids and mirror image buttons can only be switched on/off when camera is powered down. Also, the buttons aren't mountable, or should I say meant to be mounted from what the Boyo tech told me via email. I ended up cutting those mini buttons off and wiring up some 12 volt toggle switches from Radio Shack and mounted them in my glove box. This way I could turn the grids on and off and mirror the image without opening up the dash.
