Install:
I am a 2nd year college Computer Engineer. It took me about six hours to install, mainly because the wiring diagram for my car was slightly off so I had to double and triple check the connections. The little booklet it comes with is pretty straight forward and helpful. The cables are all pretty long (I think around two or three feet) and the antenna has an extra long cord so you can set it somewhere with good reception; I set mine at the top of the windshield covered from view inside by the rearview mirror. It has the capability to turn on dome light, kill starter (with install of additional module - not included), and program two or three auxiliary functions (e.g. radio, A.C.). It's also compatible with both positive and negative power windows.

Usage:
I mainly use the 2-way remote and not the other 1-way one. I've tested it and it works about 4 blocks down going through houses and cars, and also from the far corner of the Walmart parking lot (great if...
