I purchased this as a replacement for the two-way remote which came with my Python 991 system. This is a one-way remote, but has audio and visual feedback. Paring instructions came with it which is not for the faint of heart. I'd recommend a leather case for the remote to protect it from damage. The remote start button is a little too easy to press. I had to slip a piece of plastic in-between the case and the remote to add resistance to the buttons after the car started itself without my knowledge - I knocked off one star for this undesirable feature. Battery should last about a year with normal use. I've had one as a backup for over 2 years and the battery was still charged.
