The screws are rusting
This thing is surprisingly good for twenty-some bucks. I agree with the other positive reviewers.

I screwed mine onto the bed of my truck, just below the tailgate and above the bumper. Since mine is more exposed than an in-trunk install, the screws are starting to rust (after one month, with no salt on the roads; just from rain). So for an outside installation, remove all 6 screws and paint them with some anti-rust paint. Too bad the manufacturer didn't spend a couple more cents to use rust-proof screws.

BTW, the lines on the screen don't really help, but I can ignore those considering the price. Video quality is pretty good.

And since you're running the video cable into your cabin, you might as well run the power cable there, too. The power wire from my camera goes to a rocker switch I installed in the dashboard, then behind the dash to a power outlet (cigarette lighter) wire.
