The camera provides an impressive image regardless of price and in addition has a built in alignment scale which is digitally overlaid on the screen. I use this product with a JVC NX-7000 and the image is crystal clear. The field of view is amazing as I have mounted it inline and 4 inches from my ball on the receiver hitch and the ball is shown in full view. This has made it much easier to connect to my boat trailer and arrive aligned and at the correct distance on the first shot every time, the scale shown on the screen makes this an easy task. The camera is rated waterproof and I have not tested this as of yet but for the price the test will occur soon and an update to this post will be made, if the camera passes then I will be adding one to the back of my trailer so I can see what is behind the boat when backing in parking lots.
