I installed this kit on a 1998 Ford cargo van in a little under 3 hours. I have had the dash and door panels off before, so I knew what I was getting into. I looked at the "instructions" for a few minutes and decided they were mostly useless, except they show you that you are not supposed to twist or kink the cables from the motor to the window crank shaft. There wasn't any mention of the wiring in the instructions at all. I learned more from examining the actual parts than I did from the instructions. If you are mechanically inclined and are comfortable with automotive wiring, this should not be too much of a chore. Honestly, I found trying to get the caps that cover the hole where the window crank used to be to fit correctly was the worst part of the job. Installing the kit itself takes only basic tools. Removal of door panels and dash panels, well that depends on the vehicle. The motors are rather large. The control buttons and mounting pods are also on the large side. If...
