The HDVR-150 is a very good product, but the Full HD upgrade is worthless, because switching from HD (720p) to Full HD (1080p) on the HDVR-150 does not sharpen the video image quality. Instead, it lowers the frame rate from 30 to 15 fps, causing the video to be jerky (but still watchable). This is why I use the HD mode, not Full HD, on my upgraded HDVR-150.
I haven't had a chance to see the G Sensor feature in action, so I cannot comment on that.
